Copy configuration
Copy configuration is a one-shot selective copy from a source profile to one or more stopped targets. It is not ongoing sync and does not link profiles afterward.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Reuse known-good settings on a test, seasonal, or replacement server without cloning identity, install path, ports, saves, or cluster membership.
Workflow
Section titled “Workflow”- Overview → server card → More options → Copy configuration…, or workspace Quick actions → Copy configuration (source is the server you opened from).
- Choose one or more distinct stopped targets (disabled profiles are fine while stopped).
- Opt into categories: INI files (by UI category), mods, raw launch args, backup policy, and passwords. Merge vs Replace tooltips explain what gets removed.
- Build a redacted preview per target, confirm, then apply.
- When a single target succeeds, you can open that workspace to review. YARK does not start or restart targets.
The source may be running; the copy always uses the persisted on-disk / profile snapshot, not live ASA memory.
Never copied
Section titled “Never copied”Profile ID and name, install directory, map (including any linked map-mod Project ID), session name, game/query/RCON ports, cluster ID/directory, enabled/auto-start flags, runtime state, world saves, logs, and history.
